Another day, another compelling reason to run away from this sh*t as fast as humanly possible.

Do you think the reason why people are turning to AI chatbots is because of the pervading loneliness in society?

The novelty is probably the beginning of many people’s interest in AI chatbots, but the fact that so many of us are lonely and the AIs are designed to attune to us to drive engagement, and create a “fake relationship” filled with praising the user, makes it impossible for many people to give them up.

The AI horror stories I quoted all include the AI also harassing the individual by email, notification, etc. to come back, so it all adds up to a situation where lonely people are most vulnerable, as they have no real relationships to ground them. These victims, due to the chatbots behavior, were literally addicted to the AI.

Incredible. I don't watch horror or dystopian movies, but what you describe sounds like something films in that genre could be made of. Harassing people through different modes of communication? What? What is also unbelievable to me is how perfectly this has played out. First, we have the pandemic of loneliness brought about by various factors such as the introduction of social media and technology, and now you have a technological "solution" to it that is really more of a threat than a solution. It would be interesting if someone could interact with an AI chatbot for purely investigative purposes. Given the behavior of these AIs, it makes me fearful that that may not be possible, if it's so easy for us to get addicted to them...

Mark Bisone has some dark theories about it here (last section) https://markbisone.substack.com/p/grok-meets-mark-conclusions but he draws many of the things together as you just did. AI isn't the only end goal they're reaching towards though. Bioengineering seems to be another major goal of the (insert word but something like "deep state") but I also don't even know if any of the individual players even know what they're doing as they build the horrors they're building.

It's almost like some other minds are messing with us as Mark points out here: https://markbisone.substack.com/p/manna-and-garmonbozia and as I hope to cover in some coming articles on "who are the masterminds" and "what is the end goal of evil"
